Columbian Squires |
The GCC Columbian Squires are part of a national fraternity for Catholic boys under the age of eighteen. The GCC Columbian Squires are sponsored by the Greensburg Knights of Columbus, Council 1480. The Columbian Squires promote the exercise of good citizenship, patriotism, stewardship, and scholarship as they develop on matters of spiritual growth and civic responsibility. Interact |
To help students to be conscientious of the needs of others and to respond to these needs in a spirit of Christian service. Interact is the student component of Rotary International that strives to promote service projects on the international, national, and local levels. Interact is open to all students who are willing to participate in a pre-set number of sponsored activities. An Interact board and officers are elected. Moderator: Mrs. Erin Tiedeman |
Hungry Hearts |
The Hungry Hearts Society is a club dedicated to the financial assistance of organizations that provide food for children in impoverished regions of the world. Members raise money through bake sales, dress down sponsorship, and various other fundraising activities. The Hungry Hearts Society is organized and run by student officers whose actions are facilitated by a faculty member. Moderator: Mrs. Rachel Obsencia |
Columbian Squire Roses |
Colombian Squire Rose is a Senior High School organization for young women that builds character and develops leadership. The organization provides a support system for young women to grow in personal relationship with each other and deepen the relationship with Christ. Leadership includes but is not limited to involvement in the following committees: Spiritual, Service, Family, Membership. Involvement in these committees will enrich a girl in many ways. They will confirm commitment to the church and strengthen their moral character as young women. It is hoped that they will become better leaders. Student Council |
This elected group works to incorporate co-curricular activities into the total school program, to promote school spirit, and to serve as a student voice to the administration. The Student Council is made up of Student Council officers, class officers from the senior, junior, and sophomore classes, and class representatives. Officers are elected in the spring and class representatives are selected in early September. Moderator: Mrs. Debi Ritenour |
