The junior high/ high school placement test is one of three tools used by the guidance office to make course recommendations. In addition to this test, the guidance office also considers the student’s academic record, and teacher feedback.. The final goal is to place students in courses that allow for growth within a challenging, yet supportive environment. This test is required for all incoming 7th-9th grade students. Students currently enrolled in 8th grade at GCC will take this exam during a normally scheduled school day.
Register For Placement Test:
All new students entering grades 7-9 must take a Placement Test. The placement test begins at 9:00 am and is administered at GCC. The placement exam is offered on the following dates: Dec. 7, 2024; Jan. 11, 2025; February 8, 2025, April 5, 2025; May 17, 2025. Click the link below to schedule your Placement test
