Mission and Philosphy

The mission of Greensburg Central Catholic High School is to aid our Bishop, The Most Reverend Lawrence E. Brandt, JCD, PhD, and the priests of the Diocese of Greensburg in the spread of the Christian Gospel across the four counties of the Diocese: Armstrong, Fayette, Indiana, and Westmoreland. Our purpose in faith formation is to bring our young people to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as we prepare them for their life’s journey. Our vision of excellence is to maintain elevated academic standards in a demanding yet Christ-centered learning environment. Through our co-educational college preparatory curriculum and our programs in the visual and performing arts, athletics, and student activities we seek accomplishment and excellence.
